Joanie and Johnny on the Spot competed in three dressage classes. There were riders from all over the country, making for very competitive classes. In Training Level Test 2- Open they placed 4th, Training Level Test 4 -Open they were 5th and in Training Level Amateur Test 1 they placed 7th! Joanie's real Mother Becky, Mary and Dave Parrott (owners of Johnny) traveled to Tulsa for the show. Homeschooled since preschool, Sarah loves public speaking, especially debate. She travels alot with her debate team. Sarah's other interests include reading, hunting and fishing with her Dad. When ask about what riding has taught her, Sarah responded "Riding horses has taught me alot about responsibility and taking control of a situation". "Now that I'm learning to drive, riding principles such as "look where you want to go" seem to be just as applicable in a car as on the back of a horse." At lessons, Sarah is always accompanied by her S. Louisiana side kick, Janice Girouard.
