2010 Show Action

In May, CCF Jumper riders traveled to Amen Corner in Folsom, LA for their Jumper's Only Show.

Taylor Futrell was Reserve Champion with her horse Rocky Bay Breeze.

This was Taylor and Rocky's first time in the jumper ring!

Jamie and Cosmo had a great show, winning the Power and Speed Class and placing 2nd in the Jumper Classic.

CCF riders have been busy this year with dressage shows in Folsom, LA. Rayne Lowe's incredible horse High Anticipation

was Champion Intro Level at the Amen Corner Show and Reserve Champion at the Serenity Show.

Mollie's Danish Warmblood, Los Angeles made his show debut at Serenity Farm's May Dressage Show.

Teri and AF Highly Regarded. Teri and George moved up to Training Level!

Mollie and Gangster are back in the show ring after a long and unexpected break.

Joanie and JohnnyontheSpot moved up to 1st Level with great results!

The CCF team traveled to Tyler Texas for "AA" Sporthorse show fun

In June, Mollie, Jamie and Joanie ventured to Tulsa Oklahoma for the Pinto World Show. Joanie and Johnny on the Spot competed in three dressage classes. There were riders from all over the country, making for very competitive classes. In Training Level Test 2- Open they placed 4th, Training Level Test 4 -Open they were 5th and in Training Level Amateur Test 1 they placed 7th! Joanie's real Mother Becky, Mary and Dave Parrott (owners of Johnny) traveled to Tulsa for the show. Great Job Joanie and Johnny!

Meet CCF Student Sarah Sanderlin

Fifteen year old Sarah has been riding at CCF for 7 years. Homeschooled since preschool, Sarah loves public speaking, especially debate. She travels alot with her debate team. Sarah's other interests include reading, hunting and fishing with her Dad. When ask about what riding has taught her, Sarah responded "Riding horses has taught me alot about responsibility and taking control of a situation". "Now that I'm learning to drive, riding principles such as "look where you want to go" seem to be just as applicable in a car as on the back of a horse." At lessons, Sarah is always accompanied by her S. Louisiana side kick, Janice Girouard. Look for fun when these 2 are on the farm!
